Embark on a breathtaking journey from the bustling streets of Delhi to the tranquil landscapes of Shimla and the stunning Spiti Valley. Leave behind the chaos of the city as you enter a world where rugged mountains meet crystal-clear blue skies.

Schedule Details

Day 0: Delhi to Shimla
  • Meet at the boarding point in Delhi Kashmere Gate/ R K Ashram 1 hour prior to the departure time.
  • An overnight journey from Delhi to Shimla in Volvo. (Report in Delhi by 9 PM on Saturday) 
  • Reach Shimla the next morning by an overnight Volvo around 6:30 am. 
Day 1: Shimla to Chitkul
  • The Spiti Expedition quest starts
  • Hit the roads and begin your transfer from Shimla to Chitkul. Travel along the Sutlej River from where you will take a right turn towards Chitkul following the Baspa River.
  • We will be reaching Chitkul by evening. 
  • Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border.
  • Overnight stay and dinner in Rakchham
Day 2: Chitkul to Kalpa (Chitkul - Sangla - Kalpa)
  • After breakfast, spend some time at leisure and check out.
  • Chitkul is the last Indian village towards the China border. Explore the best of it. Next, you will be departing For Kalpa.
  • Watch the lovely sunset and sunrise (the next day) at Kalpa over Mount Kinner Kailash
  • About 4 – 5 Hrs of total drive on this day
  • Overnight at Kalpa
Day 3 Kalpa – Nako – Nako Lake – Geyu Mummy – Tabo
  • Start your day early and watch the vistas en route over Hindustan Tibet Highway 
  • Check Out Khab, Confluence of Spiti and Satluj Rivers 
  • See the Leo Purygal Peak from Khab Bridge
  • Have your lunch at Nako Lake 
  • Meet the dreaded Malling Nalla ahead of Nako
  • After Chango – Sumdo you will enter Spiti Valley. 
  • After Sumdo police registration, detour towards Geyu Village to visit the 500-Year-old Mummy 
  • About 8 – 9 Hrs drive, depending upon the breaks you take in between 
  • Overnight at Tabo
Day 4 Tabo – Dhankar – Dhankar Lake – Kaza
  • Visit Dhankar Monastery and Dhankar Lake and leave after early lunch 
  • Enjoy the magnificent vistas all-day
  • Traverse the Pin Valley | Kungri – Sagnam – Mud – Tailing
  • About 4 – 5 Hrs of driving in the day 
  • Head for Kaza, headquarters of Spiti Valley 
  • Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 5 Kaza – Hikkim – Komik – Langza – Key- Kaza
  • Today visit the road less traveled or offbeat places near Kaza
  • Great view of Chau Chau Kang Nelda peak from Langza 
  • Statue of the Buddha near Langza looking down the valley
  • The Tanggyud monastery at Komik is one of the most important and the highest monastery in the Spiti Valley 
  • Overnight at Kaza.
Day 6 Kaza - Chicham – Kunzum Pass – Chandratal
  • Visit Chandratal via Kunzum Pass and enjoy the day there 
  • We will then hit the roads to Kunzum Pass via the Chicham Bridge. Then move towards Chandrataal Lake and check-in to your camps by evening. 
  • You can do star gazing at night.
Day 7: Chandratal - Manali
  • Wake up relaxed in the morning today and have breakfast with a majestic view.
  • Post breakfast we will have some photographs clicked and some reels before we leave for Manali and 
  • Head Towards Manali via Sissu Valley, Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley
  • Reach Manali by evening and check – into your pre booked Hotel
  • Dinner and Overnight stay at our hotel in Manali
Day 8: Checkout from Manali and Departure to Delhi
  • Have your breakfast
  • After breakfast checkout from hotel and head out for Local Manali Sightseeing Tour
  • Visit places like Hadimba Temple, Mall Road, Van Vihar, Buddhist Monastery etc
  • At evening Departure to Delhi
  • Overnight Journey to Delhi
Day – 9 – Arrival in Delhi
  • Arrive in Delhi early in the morning
