Bir Billing the paragliding capital of India, is a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies and meditation.  Bir is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa. The Bir-Billing area is a popular site for paraglider pilots, both Indians and visitors from all over the world. The village continues to host periodic international competitions and events.The paragliding launch site is in the meadow at Billing (14 km north of Bir), at an elevation of 2400 metres, while the landing site and most tourist accommodations are in the village of Chougan (also spelled Chougan), on the southern edge of Bir.

Schedule Details

DAY 1 – DELHI TO BIR ( 11 HRS)
  • Assemble at the meeting point for Departure
  • Then we leave from Delhi for our Paragliding and camping trip to BIR.
DAY 2 – PARAGLIDING AND BIR EXPLORATION
  • Arrive at Bir
  • On arrival We'll move onto our campsite/hotel next, where breakfast will be served.
  • Drive to Billing for your paragliding session. Enjoy the best paragliding in India. 
  • After landing at Bir, you can explore the local town of Bir, enjoy the scenic sunset and do cafe hopping. 
  • There are many good eateries in BIR and can also taste local Strawberry wine.
  • Later return to the campsite/ hotel. Dinner at the property.
DAY 3 – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING AND DEPARTURE TO DELHI
  • After breakfast we will checkout from campsite/hotel and head for local sightseeing.
  • After 4 to 5 hrs of sightseeing we can relax in bir.
  • We'll depart for Delhi in Evening
  • This would mark the end of the tour.
